Share your best photograph of something Uniquely Clearwater!*
What do you think is "Uniquely Clearwater"? We all know that Clearwater is bright and beautiful from bay to beach, but what else makes our community unique? Show us and you could win a $100 gift card!
What should I photograph?
We have some of the most beautiful beaches around, but what is something no other city features? We'd love to see you capture pictures of something truly unique to Clearwater! Is there something you love about your neighborhood? What makes you smile when you see it? Submit your best photo that captures what you feel showcases the beauty and charm of our city. Photos may be of landscapes, architecture, nature, wildlife, art, or other significant aspects that are uniquely Clearwater.
How do I enter?
The contest will run for four weeks, beginning Monday, May 24 and ending on Sunday, June 20. The photo with the most "likes" at the end of each week will be the winner of that week, and the photographer will be able to choose a $100 gift card from one of three categories: a local restaurant; a grocery store; or a home improvement center.
Submit your photo below, then make sure you check out others' submissions. You may see something new. Also, don't forget to vote for your favorite photo and spread the word to others so they can vote too!
What else do I need to know?
Submitted or winning photos may be used within the Clearwater 2045 Comprehensive Plan.

Supporting the arts - Sculpture360 Program
You have probably seen the sculptures downtown, or perhaps this one in front of the "old" city hall. Clearwater makes art an important part of beautifying our city in a most unique way through the Sculpture360 program. This endeavor is part of the Clearwater Public Art and Design program and is supported through contributions to the City's public art fund. Clearwater Marine Aquarium - Home of Winter the Dolphin, But So Much More!
Yes, everyone knows Winter and loves to visit her and her friends but did you know that the Clearwater Marine Aquarium hosts many educational and family friendly events that emphasize conservation and protection of many species, not just aquatic? We had the pleasure of visiting with this beautiful lady barred owl at an event at the aquarium earlier this year on Florida raptors. Very informative and great for families! This gal was injured and blinded when hit by a car and could not be re-released in the wild.

Clearwater Supports Sustainability!
Part of the Sustainability Program is the Clearwater Greenprint - and residents can take a course online on composting! As a resident I appreciate this mission and being able to participate via my own composting which reduces my waste bin output. And best of all, I used my compose in my gardens which attract beautiful native and beneficial creatures such as this visitor, a Gulf Fritillary butterfly, having a snack on my lovely cosmos!
